An awesome riding skills, drifting, wheelies, stoppies of stock 2016 Honda Africa Twin. It looks like this motorcycle doesn't need to go offroad to get all crazy! Rider: An instructor of one of the best Czech riding schools - „MÍRA” LISÝ Shot on Motosalon Brno 2016. Enjoy!

Rainy Commute on KTM Duke 390
Переглядів 8178 років тому
It was unexpected to have rain this day. For motorcyclist sometimes it could be a bit an event, considering what gear is taken and as always, its pretty nasty if your gear isn't waterproof If you are covered, its all Great and Fun, providing you don't slip and kill yourself under such conditions :) However, If water gets inside - that's a sure an instant mood spoiler, with the severity grade de...
Weekend Ride on KTM Duke 390
Переглядів 8768 років тому
Enjoying one of the warm early autumn weekends riding KTM Duke 390 in southern region of Czech Republic. Have a motorcycle license for just over 3 month, lots of noob riding errors. Thankfully Duke allows for some modest mistakes as you are able to see on this vid :) MOTORCYCLE: KTM Duke 390 GEAR camera: GoPro HERO4 Silver helmet: Schuberth SR 1 mic: Zoom H1 v2 - located in the pocket with set ...
that's no way near Gymkhana :(
Did you buy one?
What a newbie
Whenever I've found my Versys 650 to be lacking sufficient power, I downshifted, and there was no longer a problem. 💁♂️💚
I pick mine up tomorrow! Brand new, not my first bike but never had a bike from new. I deliberated for weeks and went full circle back to the 650. Having bike over 1000cc for years I was apprehensive. All in all seems to be a very popular bike.
Bike actually sounds very nice when wide open throttle.
I’ve gotten 450 km out of a tank, with a bit more to go.
I've got that same bike. Easy to U turn!
Sorry but watching makes me feel seasick due to constant rolling.
She is a beauty. Now, name her so she will love you back and be dependable.

Many thanks for not speaking during test, allowing opportunity to hear how the engine sounds! (Most YT bike testers feel compelled to constantly narrate - very frustrating.)
Some of us keep wishing for manufacturers to build fairings and windscreens that actually work. We are not all 5 foot 6 inches and 130 pounds. I am 6 feet and 245 pounds and wish i still had my 96 VFR750 i bought new.
Kickstand up before 1st gear noob
I mean, if you're doing any semblance of touring on the highway you'll want earplugs regardless.
How are you liking the bike? I am looking at a similar model.
Nice review. I got the 2015 versys 650 and got the longer puig windscreen, the buffeting problem still there (im 188cm) but i've solved it with a wind deflector on its lowest position, i think deflector with adjustable angle is the only solution for this problem... I think the wind flows trough windscreen and the deflector is solving that buffeting torbulence noise... Now i can hear the great engine sound and the music from my intercom much much better not a disturby wind sound which makes the ride alot more fun 👍
Just bought my 4th versys, keep coming back after owning several other bikes in between. If carlsberg made motorbikes....... It would be a versys
You shore you know how to ride a bike?
I ride with a Shoei Helmet and at 6foot 2inch I get very little buffeting at motorway speeds. I always ride with earplugs as every motorcyclist should to protect ones hearing. Great video and sound by the way. This is one of the best and most comfortable fun bikes I've ever owned and I've owned many. I can run smooth corners faster and more enjoyably than most race bikes I've ridden. I'm sure the reason is with it being such a high bike it gives the rider the ability to see and set up into the corners so much earlier. Plus the stock suspension is spot on. Not hanging about and averaging 58 -60mpg. The engine braking also helps if you enter into corners too hot, just back off the throttle slightly and you have scrubbed 30% off your speed. Feather your front brake to load the front wheel, counter steer, pick your line and this thing will pull you around the corner like it"s on rails. Well done Kawasaki!!
Do you still own it?
NVK85 yeah I do and it’s great bike. Having on it 37k now and it never let me down, commute or long journeys
RoadTracer glad to hear that) i just got mine, but used with 38k on clock. I like it too)
I own an 07 vstrom 1000. I think the 1st generation looks better, and it has dual exhaust. Funny thing is people attempt to race me all the time. I especially love racing the new CVO Harley's. 😎
226 kg is not heavy for a 1000 cc adventure bike
Good video. Thanks.
No audio - that's a shame
Great ride!
I replaced the windshield and it's 100 times better!
How would you compare the Versys 650 to this Vstrom 1000 ? I have an option to buy either. im 6'2" Havent rode either. Want a bike to do little bit of everything on.
I like more power of vstrom. And It feels just as light. Made on it over 20k already and like it a lot. It feels more modern too with better and bigger dashboard info. But I tested it long time ago maybe kawasaki got already updated. Still though the amount of pull is incomparable :) Ah, when I go with my wife it’s fantastic on vstrom too as it generally can carry weight with more confidence.
Nice even sound all the way through the power band.
I bet that cyclist was pleased
Not a bad review, but poor riding skills.
How about the vibration it is not bad?
Honestly, kickstand lost to the part where you waited for cars coming left to pass just to go right.
A set of earplugs is a completely necessary investment, no matter what bike you ride on or who you are. Trust this from a guy with mild tinnitus because he was an idiot once.
I have a 2006. Love it for the dual exhaust. Sounds even better.
Agreed. The dual rear exhaust looks way way better than the stupid single side-lump that the newer models have. I've got an 08 myself.
Fajnový zvuček a motorka, taky mě bude říkat pane :)
almost 7 liters /100 km comsumption??? WOW..not efficient ?
Very nice Review!
Learner?
Can’t wait to my hands on this beast,is the weight a problem ?(nice video by the way)
More people should do subtitles so you can hear the big the whole way through. I really enjoyed that, thank you!
Yes, the 650 is more maneuverable than the 1000. This means that it can be used both in the city and highway. Get a bigger fairing/windscreen-no buffeting at all.
U talk about noob but you can’t even take off without stalling hahahhaha and u wrong bout how to use modes no to surprising there 😂
Dork romping around the hood like a dumb kid. Making no friends of moto
The "hood"? Looked like a country road to me. Don't be such a snob, dude.
Looks like you need a mini trail 50 to match skill level
Way to scare the shit out of that cyclist there - revving while passing from behind.
Beautiful bike!!! How tall are you? I'm Ft 5'7 tall would I fit on this bike?
OperationFoxley19441 thanks! I’m 182cm which should be 5’9 I think? I have lower version of the seat and I’m flatfooting it which I love. One of my friends which is much shorter 172cm also we’re managing more than fine.
You ride like a noob
Be glad that the stand security was working. Can u image what could of happened if u started riding with the stand still out
Haha nub
